Shipping and return policies for Music Preservation Society

Return Policy
If you have a problem with an order please contact us in the first instance as most problems can be resolved very quickly. We will always aim to act in a timely manner should you be entitled to a replacement or refund. This is best done by email stating your order items, order number and full name.

Returns / damaged or faulty goods
Your statutory rights are unaffected if goods are faulty or damaged in transit.
Proof of Purchase is required. Items must be returned if faulty or no refund or replacement can be provided

Sale items (if applicable)
You statutory rights still apply under UK Distance Selling Rules.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

As per your statutory rights you have 30 days from receipt of the item to return if in its original condition if faulty. If damaged in the post we need the damaged item to be able to claim back from Royal Mail.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate or code will be emailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver meaning he / she will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless you have a damaged or faulty item

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
